The History of Eirin

Eirin was born under the spring sun of the Canary Islands in 1989, and grew up among pine trees in a family full of love. She embraced her role as the eldest sister wholeheartedly, spending her days watching Disney films and reading fantasy novels.

Her desire to discover the world led her to study languages and travel. By a Finnish lake, she met the love of her life—who turned out to be French. Naturally, Eirin moved to his country, where she learned even more languages and began working as a secondary school Spanish teacher.

Something shifted within her when, after he proposed, they finally said “I do”: Eirin (re)discovered her passion for weddings and love stories. In that moment, she chose to leave education behind and become a photographer of love and souls.

A few years—and many injections—later, her first baby arrived, and soon after, her second. With them came another transformation: she was now a mother-photographer, drawn to capture motherhood as well. So she trained to become a doula.

And since she couldn’t imagine raising her children far from her own mother, Eirin—together with her husband, their two daughters, their dog, and their cat—finally returned to the Canary Islands.

Nowadays, I dedicate myself to helping and supporting couples, families, and women—both local and international—to create artistic and heartfelt memories of the most important moments in their lives, so they can relive every emotion and every instant. I do this in three languages if needed, naturally and warmly, thanks to my human-centered approach, my sunny energy, and over eight years of experience.
